ARUA-CD 2-year scholarship for a Masters by Dissertation with a focus in climate change and development (2020 and 2021)

We invite black South Africans interested in completing a Masters by Dissertation with a focus in climate change and development (2020 and 2021) to apply for an ARUA-CD 2-year scholarship.
The scholarship has a value of R300,000 over 2 years (i.e., R150 000 per year; 2nd year renewal depends on satisfactory progress report), from which the fees will be covered and the balance disbursed in two tranches per year (2020 and 2021).
We aim to attract exceptional scholars who are academically capable and are committed to serving South Africa in the environmental and development fields. The application process will be highly competitive.
The University of Cape Town reserves the right to disqualify ineligible, incomplete and/or inappropriate applications. The University of Cape Town also reserves the right to change the conditions of the award or to make no awards at all.
