The human factor in energy efficiency: lessons from developing countries
You are invited to a seminar with Aurelia Figueroa, a researcher and economist with the German Development Institute (Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE)) who will talk on how behaviour has the potential to be either a formidable barrier or meaningful driver of energy efficiency uptake. Figueroa looks how although the topic has a longer record of evidence in OECD Member countries, it is under-researched in the emerging and developing economy context. She will also talk about how it presents promising options for no- and low-cost energy efficiency up-scaling in the near term. You can see more on Figeroa's work here.
